Topics of discussion include the reclassification and regulation of cannabis and psychedelics, as well as intellectual property and pharmacovigilance. The workshop&#8217;s participants will also address the history of the pharmaceutical industry and the implications of opiates and opioids on addiction and rehabilitation policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two-day event includes a series of panels covering emerging research projects, psychoactive communications, and outreach efforts. Scholars at different stages of their careers will present their work on a range of topics such as the transformation of traditional Chinese medicine, the history of psychedelics, and the global drug trade.
