Executive Director<\/strong>
Lucas Richert<\/strong> became AIHP\u2019s Executive Director in 2023. He is responsible for executing the Institute\u2019s strategic plans, managing the Institute\u2019s financial affairs, programs, operations, and policies, and supervising the Institute\u2019s staff. Previously, Lucas served as the Historical Director and he was responsible for the Institute\u2019s historical programs and programming. He also serves as a Co-Editor-in-Chief of\u00a0History of Pharmacy and Pharmaceuticals<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lucas is a Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy and the George Urdang Chair in the History of Pharmacy. Lucas was awarded graduate degrees from the University of Edinburgh and University of London after beginning his academic studies at the University of Saskatchewan. Prior to joining UW-Madison, he was a Lecturer and then a Chancellor\u2019s Fellow in the University of Strathclyde\u2019s Centre for the Social History of Health and Healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
